SEO Tips
The real challenge lies in getting top positions for popular "keyphrase"s.
I say '"keyphrase"s' and not 'keywords', because most queries are done for '"keyphrase"s'. You'll improve your chances of a good ranking if you used a more specific ""keyphrase"" also known as a "long-tailed-keyword" rather than a generic single keyword, e.g. domain name is better than domain, and better still is domain name registration.
The more words you use in your "keyphrase", the more likely you will have a winner, providing you follow the advice I am about to give below.
First, it is imperative that you choose the right "keyphrase"s. Choose the wrong ones and your efforts will be in vain. Look at your competitions sites, which phrases are they using? Do the phrases reflect your sites theme?
A really excellent tool you can use to determine which "keyphrase" to choose is WordTracker besides others mentioned on the website. This tool will give you hundreds of variations of a given keyword or "keyphrase". It will give you an estimated prediction of the number of times your selected "keyphrase" has been queried in each of the major engines and directories, together with the number of competing sites. And then, it will give you a score based on their formula, indicating your chances of attaining a good position. It also has a free-trial. Check it out!
